Frequently asked questions
Do we need a private link, or is a VPN enough?
For most offices an IPsec VPN over two separate internet lines is enough. For heavy traffic or strict latency needs, a private fiber link to our data center is the better choice.
Can we connect other public clouds as well?
Yes. We can route traffic to other cloud providers over VPN, so your hybrid setup is not limited to Nebora.
What latency can we expect?
Under 2 ms for city connections within Sofia over a private fiber link. From other locations it depends on distance and route: typically under 10 ms over VPN from most of Bulgaria, and more from abroad. We measure the actual latency from your sites during the assessment.
Will users notice the change?
Ideally not. We keep the same IP plans, DNS names and sign-in where possible, and schedule cut-overs outside working hours.
