Frequently asked questions

Short answers to the questions we hear most often. Can’t find yours? Our team is happy to help.

General

Where is my data stored?

In BG‑SOF‑1, our own data center in Sofia, Bulgaria. Your data stays in the EU and is never moved to another country without your written agreement. Backup copies are kept on separate, isolated storage.

Are you GDPR compliant and certified?

Yes. We work as a data processor under a data processing agreement that is part of every contract, and our processes are certified to ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 9001, ISO 22301. Copies of the certificates are available on request.

What kind of companies do you work with?

Mostly small and mid-sized businesses and public-sector teams in Bulgaria and the EU that need reliable infrastructure but do not want to run a data center themselves — from software companies to retailers and financial services.

Services

Can you migrate our existing servers?

Yes. We start with an assessment of your current systems, agree a plan and timeline with you, and move workloads in planned windows to keep downtime to a minimum. Physical servers can also move into colocation as they are.

Can we start with one service and add more later?

Yes. Many customers start with backup or a few cloud servers and add colocation or managed services later. Everything stays under one contract, one invoice and one support team.

Which operating systems and platforms do you support?

All common Linux distributions and Windows Server, VMware and Hyper-V environments, Kubernetes and Microsoft 365 backup. If you run something less common, tell us and we will confirm before you commit.

Data center

Can we visit the data center?

Yes. We are happy to show you BG‑SOF‑1 before you sign. Visits are booked in advance and require a valid ID; customers with colocation get 24/7 access for their authorized staff.

What happens if the power goes out?

Power is 2N redundant: two independent paths, each with its own UPS and generator. Generators start automatically and run on on-site fuel, so a grid outage does not interrupt your equipment. Cooling is N+1 redundant.

Can we bring our own internet connection?

Yes. BG‑SOF‑1 is carrier-neutral, with 4 carriers on site. You can use your existing carrier, choose another one, or use our managed connectivity with redundant uplinks.

Billing

How does billing work?

You receive one monthly invoice in euros for all services under a single contract. Cloud resources are billed by usage; colocation and managed services have a fixed monthly fee. Invoices and usage reports are always available in the Client Portal.

Is there a minimum contract term?

Cloud services can be used month to month. Colocation and managed services usually run for 12 months, because they include setup work on our side. Longer terms are possible if you want a fixed price for longer.

How do we get a price?

Send us a short description of what you need through the contact form, choosing “Request a quote”. We reply with questions or a written proposal, usually within one business day.

Support

Is support available in English and Bulgarian?

Yes. Existing customers reach our NOC 24/7 through the Client Portal, for support and critical incidents. Sales and general questions sent through the contact form or to info@neboracloud.com get a reply within one business day. Either way, we work with you in English or Bulgarian.

What does your SLA cover?

Our SLA commits to 99.95% monthly availability and a 30-minute first response to P1 incidents, 24/7. If we miss the target, you receive service credits. The full terms are on our SLA page.

How do we report an urgent incident?

Open a P1 ticket in the Client Portal. It reaches the engineer on duty 24/7. Planned work and incidents are also published on our System Status page.

Didn’t find your answer?

Send us your question and an engineer will reply within one business day.
